The firm

Our client is a boutique law firm based in the West End of London specialising in non-contentious Property (mainly residential), Company Commercial and Probate matters. It prides itself on providing a high quality, bespoke service to its clients.

The opportunity

A Property Paralegal or an Administrative Assistant with residential conveyancing experience is required to join the firm on a part-time basis (3 days per week) in support of the Principal Solicitor. The role will involve some of the more time-consuming aspects of property practice, including completing Land Registry forms, dealing with pre-contract documentation as well as post-completion matters. You will also be required to carry out basic administrative tasks, including scanning hard copy correspondence and documentation into the firm’s practice management system (LEAP). There is a possibility of the role becoming full-time in the longer term.

About you

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Have previous experience as a Property Paralegal or as an Administrative Assistant in the conveyancing field;
  • Be dependable, highly professional and have excellent attention to detail; and
  • Be personable and willing to make a long-term commitment to the firm.
In return

The firm is offering a competitive, full-time equivalent salary of £20,000 per annum with flexibility as to which days are worked. This is an excellent opportunity with real responsibility enabling you to build on your previous experience of property law practice.

Please note that this role does not offer the possibility of a training contract and is best suited to a career paralegal not looking to qualify as a solicitor.

We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
